Joint Industry Feedback on BNM's Discussion Paper on Asset Tokenisation
A consolidated industry response to Bank Negara Malaysia, answering all forty feedback questions.
Prepared by ACCESS with Malaysia Digital Consortium & Fintech Association of Malaysia
Bank Negara Malaysia's Discussion Paper on Asset Tokenisation in the Malaysian Financial Sector sets out a risk-calibrated approach to programmable platforms in the sovereign financial infrastructure. This is the domestic industry's consolidated response: an answer to each of BNM's forty questions, grounded in the current Malaysian blockchain ecosystem, proposing unified technical standards, a technology-agnostic consortium rather than siloed bank networks, RENTAS modernisation for API interoperability, and clear institutional safe harbours.
